The hugely successful Lord Of The Rings trilogy has become the film phenomenon of the 21st century. Whilst there were many who were sceptical about how well the adaptations of JRR Tolkien’s legendary books would turn out, their fears have proved to be unfounded – the films have become multi-award winning and high box office earners.
The tracks on this album have similarly tried to capture the magic of Lord Of The Rings. Although inspired by the film, this album is probably best enjoyed whilst reading the book – pictures of The Black Gate and Window On The West will pop into the head whilst reading, and the music portrays those images perfectly.
